System Status & Error Troubleshooting

Check System Status First

If you're experiencing issues accessing Straddle or your transactions, start here:

Visit status.straddle.com to check if there are any known system outages or incidents.

If there's an active incident, our team is working on it. Check the status page for updates.

Common Errors

Authentication Errors

If you're unable to log in or see "authentication failed" messages:

  1. Reset your password: Click "Forgot password?" on the login page and follow the reset flow

  2. Clear browser data: Clear cookies and cache, then try again

  3. Try a different browser or device: This helps rule out browser-specific issues

  4. Check for account lockout: After multiple failed login attempts, your account may be temporarily locked

  5. If none of these work, contact help@straddle.com

Login & Invitation Errors

Can't log in after signing up?

  • Check your email for a verification link if required (this is required if you are not using Single Sign On)

  • Use the password reset flow if you've forgotten your password

  • Make sure you're using the correct email address

Didn't receive an invitation?

  • Check your spam folder

  • Ask the account owner to resend the invitation

  • Contact help@straddle.com if the issue persists

Getting Help

If you're still experiencing issues after trying the troubleshooting steps above:

Contact help@straddle.com and include:

  • The error message you received (copy it exactly)

  • When the error occurred (date and time)

  • Your browser and device type (e.g., Chrome on Mac, Safari on iPhone)

  • Steps you took before the error appeared

  • Whether the issue is still happening or if it resolved itself
